The animations of the heroes and enemies feel like they were handcrafted to ensure that the player can remember them. The characters, enemies, and battle environments are all rendered in 3D, and they are rendered beautifully. ![]() Presentation: As I stated before, this game is hauntingly beautiful. While I cannot go over every game mechanic, this primary loop of choosing heroes, traveling, destroying enemies, and repeating is enough to keep players returning. After defeating each of these enemies and helping those in desperate need, the player reaches an Inn where his heroes can rest, repair the stagecoach, and stock up on items. However, these preferences are not set in stone specific abilities only work when a hero is in a particular position in the party, so the play must constantly think and adjust their strategy as the game progresses. Each hero has a position on the battlefield that they prefer and excel at some like being up close and personal, while others prefer support from the backline. When encountering these enemies, they usually come in groups of four, just like your heroes, and the positioning of your heroes is one of the most critical factors in a run. Each region has different types of enemies that the player must adapt to for example, one area focuses on fire damage over time, while another focuses on doing blight(poison) harm. Gameplay: After choosing four heroes to take on the journey, the player controls a stagecoach and travels through particular sections, or Regions as they are called in-game.
